TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

This contract outlines the terms and expectations for participation in the Standout Job Search program (“Program”), managed by Mannatee LLC (“Self Made Millennial”). The Program is designed to help you land a high-paying role using proven systems, coaching, and application automation. This agreement exists to ensure mutual accountability and support throughout the engagement.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Duration: 90 days
Format: Online coaching, job application support, and proprietary tools & strategies
Goal: To increase your income and access to job offers by executing a consistent application, networking, and interview strategy with expert guidance.

1. Services Provided by Standout Job Search 

During the active Program term, Standout Job Search agrees to provide the following services, subject to the Client’s ongoing compliance with Program requirements:
  • ​Group Coaching Calls: One (1) or more live group coaching calls per week, focused on job search strategy, execution optimization, resume positioning, creative networking strategies, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, and live Q&A. Recordings are provided when available.
  • ​Dedicated Coach Access: Up to one (1) one on one coaching call per month with one of our coaches, focused on personalized strategy, execution review, and problem-solving. Scheduling is subject to coach availability and Program structure.
  • Asynchronous Coach Support: Unlimited Slack support with the assigned coach for questions related to resume optimization, LinkedIn strategy, interview preparation, job application execution, and Program deliverables.
  • Proprietary Tools & Curriculum Access: Full access to all Program materials, including custom-built tools, videos, exercises, templates, scoring tools, and system documentation, delivered through the Program portal.
  • ​Done-For-You Job Application Support: Management and execution of job applications each month through Standout Job Search’s Job Application System (JAS) during the active fulfillment period, including role targeting, application submission, and system-level quality control, subject to market conditions and third-party platform limitations.
  • ​Mock Interview & Interview Support: Mock interview tools provided as well as unlimited reviews of mock interview and real interview recordings.  
  • ​Technical Infrastructure & Systems Access: Access to the tools, systems, templates, and infrastructure required to execute the Program as designed, including application tracking, scoring systems, and operational workflows.
  • ​Troubleshooting & System Support: Reasonable troubleshooting and technical support related to Program systems and tools, with resolution timelines dependent on issue complexity and third-party dependencies.

2. Conditional Placement Guarantee

Standout Job Search will continue to run the job search beyond the initial program term until the Client is placed so long as the client meets the following minimum requirements to remain eligible for the continued support: The Client agrees to complete all deliverables outlined in the Program deliverables table by their stated deadlines, attend at least one (1) group coaching call per week (with up to two excused absences per ninety days), submit the weekly client survey every Friday by 11:59pm CST, participate in all interviews generated through the mutually approved job search strategy. As the job search can only be as effective as the client is engaged, if any of these requirements are not met in full, the guarantee is voided and the agreement ends at the end date on this document. Additionally, the target job must have reasonable volume (roles we categorize as “Green” jobs as shared on our list of job titles with the high volume of roles), allowing our team to have adequate opportunities to apply to enough jobs. We will still help in earnest if you do not choose a “Green” job, but we connote guarantee the role will be obtained in 90 days and additional help would require a cost.

3. Pausing

The program timeline runs continuously from the Start Date unless a pause is requested and approved in writing. To request a pause, email client@selfmadeway.com with the reason and proposed dates. Standout Job Search will respond within two (2) business days. Clients may request one pause of up to thirty (30) days. Approved pauses extend the program end date accordingly. Simply stopping participation does not constitute a pause and lost time is not recoverable.

4. Interview Participation

The Client agrees to participate in all interviews generated through the mutually approved job search strategy. Declining aligned interviews without reasonable justification voids eligibility for the conditional support extension. Nothing in this section restricts the Client's right to accept or decline any job offer. This requirement applies solely to interview participation, not offer acceptance.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are final and non-refundable once services begin. The conditional placement guarantee is the sole remedy for results-based recourse. Services begin upon the earliest of: delivery of onboarding materials, activation of Program access, or participation in any coaching or support interaction. Delivery may be evidenced by access logs, attendance records, submitted deliverables, or onboarding communications.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without objective evidence of material non-delivery constitutes a breach of this Agreement. Standout Job Search reserves the right to pursue recovery of all associated fees, costs, and expenses as permitted by law. Claims of non-delivery must be supported by objective evidence of failure to provide expressly listed services. Dissatisfaction with outcomes, pacing, or market conditions does not constitute non-delivery.

If a payment plan is chosen, Client is responsible for all payments. The payment plan is to break the investment up into smaller pieces to make it easier to pay, it is NOT a monthly subscription.

If Client elects to pay by monthly installments, Client authorizes the Company to charge Client’s credit card or debit card. If Client elects to pay in FULL, Client may pay by credit card or debit card.

6. Definition of Terms

An "interview" includes any employer screening, assessment, or evaluation, whether live, recorded, automated, asynchronous, or technical. "Job placement" is defined as the Client receiving a written offer for paid employment (full-time, contract, or W2) that results from or is materially influenced by the strategies provided by Standout Job Search, independent of whether the source of the offer is from Standout Job Search's application system, recruiter outreach, referrals, or other channels. Standout Job Search does not guarantee specific job titles, compensation levels, interview volume, or hiring timelines.

7. Continued Partial Access Of Services

At the end of the initial term due to successful placement or non-compliance with the guarantee requirements, the Client ceases access to the job application system, assigned virtual assistant, the client success manager, the Slack communication channels, and the career coaches. The Client retains access to the member site at jobshopping.careers to utilize the tools and resources for the lifetime that this particular product is being maintained. Continued hands-on support may be extended under a separate written agreement and with additional cost.

8. Role Alignment

The Program is designed for professionals targeting corporate / white collar roles with a minimum 2 years of experience in their field. Clients may pursue roles outside this scope, but doing so may limit Program effectiveness, and therefore voids the conditional guarantee should the client choose to target outside the target range defined in the Job Title Strategy Document.

9. Platform Responsibility

Standout Job Search is not responsible for platform-side rate limits, account flags, bans, or restrictions arising from the Client's independent use of automation tools or third-party platforms.

Job postings on major platforms may occasionally include fraudulent, misleading, or scam listings despite platform-level safeguards. While Standout Job Search exercises reasonable care in targeting legitimate opportunities, it cannot verify the authenticity of every posting. The Client is responsible for evaluating any employer or opportunity before sharing personal information, completing assessments, or accepting offers. Standout Job Search is not liable for any financial loss, identity theft, data exposure, or other harm resulting from the Client's engagement with a fraudulent listing.

10. Legal

Intellectual Property: All Program materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Mannatee LLC. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited and may result in legal action.

Non-Solicitation: During this Agreement and for twelve (12) months after, the Client agrees not to solicit, recruit, hire, or engage any personnel introduced or utilized by Standout Job Search in connection with the services without written authorization.

Employment Compliance: Standout Job Search does not encourage employment activity that violates legal agreements or employment contracts. All strategies discussed in the Program are optional and implemented at the Client's sole discretion. The Client is responsible for compliance with their own employment obligations and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Standout Job Search harmless from any claims, disputes, losses, or damages resulting from their employment decisions, including third-party claims arising from actions taken in violation of employment agreements or applicable laws.

Community Standards: Clients receive access to the Standout Job Search Slack community during the tenure of their program. Standout Job Search reserves the right to remove anyone who engages in disruptive, harassing, demoralizing, or unethical behavior.

Bad Faith and Non-Compliance: If the Client fails to meet all obligations in section 2, the Client's formal done-for-you support will conclude at the end of the initial contract term. Conduct that materially undermines Program execution, including misrepresenting participation or progress, becoming unresponsive for more than five (5) business days without notice, refusing to implement Program processes while claiming non-delivery, or declining aligned interviews without reasonable justification voids eligibility for continued support.

11. Dispute Resolution & General Terms

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Puerto Rico. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Puerto Rico. If arbitration determines that Standout Job Search fulfilled its obligations, the Client agrees to reimburse Standout Job Search for reasonable legal fees and arbitration costs.

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior communications or agreements. Provisions relating to intellectual property, payment obligations, dispute resolution, indemnification, and non-solicitation survive the completion, expiration, or termination of this Agreement. By signing, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms.
